Americas Cardroom's Rakeback Program
The rake method for rakeback players works as
follows:
ACR take what we would call 'the rake' from each pot, and they
employ the 'no flop = no drop' policy. Rake is worked out according
to the size of the pot and how many players are taking part in the
hand. The commission (or rake) is set at 5% and is capped at a
maximum of $3.
From 27th November 2012, ACR is drastically lowering the rake fee
for all Limit tables - covering Limit Hold'em, Omaha, and 7 Stud.
The most significant drop will be at the high stakes tables - where
the 5% rake fee will be cut to just 1%! Low stakes players will
also benefit from these changes, seeing a one cent cap at all
$0.02/$0.04 tables. More details can be found here.
The rake method for non-rakeback players works as
follows:
ACR differs from its close competitors by using a Player Points
reward system for cash games - players receive points just for
being dealt in a hand, so that players are given points when
contributing to a pot, but they are also given points even when
they fold. So under this system ACR players always earn points.
Americas Cardroom Elite Benefits Program:
Players can choose ACR's Elite Benefits Program over the 27%
rakeback deal if they wish.
In the Elite Benefits Program there are five ranks. These are: :
Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Colonel, and General. In this program
ACR use the dealt rake method to work out your rewards.
Simply earn Rank Points (or RP's) and improve your
rank.
For every (US)$1 paid in tourney fees, players get 5.5 RP's.
E.g. If a tourney buy in is $20 + $2, the player will get 11 RP's
because they've paid $2 in tourney fees, and $1 = 5.5 RP's
In cash games, Rank Points are also earned at the same rate of 5.5
RP's for every $1 raked.
E.g. At a 9 handed table, with 6 players dealt, and a total of $2
in rake, 11 RPs are then divided among the six players (2 x 5.5 =
11). That's 1.83 RPs earned per player (11 / 6 = 1.83
