Real Money / Cash Poker Games: Based on the
Essence Model - players receive 3.6 PP's (Player Points) for every
$1 rake.
SNG's (Sit & Go Tournaments): Every $1 fees =
3.6 PP's
MTT's (Multi-table Tournaments): Every $1 fees =
3.6 PP's
To illustrate the above Player Points system, let's say you play a
$50 + $4 buy-in MTT tourney - you would receive 14.4 PP's (Player
Points) for this.
PP's are awarded to player according to their share of the pot. So
if you contribute $75 of a $100 pot, you would receive 75% of the
total number of PP's awarded for that game.
Any PP's awarded are then re-worked based on the internal strength
relationship of those players, in line with the OnGame Essence
Model. Points are awarded like this so that more experienced
players cannot take advantage of less experienced players; a
relatively novice player in a hand with other more experienced
players would be proportionally awarded more points to reflect this
discrepancy. In just the same way, a very experienced player
sitting in a hand with much less skilled or seasoned players will
be awarded marginally fewer points than normal.
